Motorist due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court following fatal crash on Barrack Road, Christchurch




A MOTORIST is due to appear in court in connection with a fatal road crash in Christchurch.

As reported in the A&T, the incident in Barrack Road, at its junction with Avenue Road, happened on 30th September 2022.

It involved a black Kawasaki bike and a grey Suzuki Swift.

Emergency services responded but the rider, a Bournemouth man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesperson confirmed a 27-year-old Bournemouth woman has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday for an offence of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
