Missing Christchurch woman Karen Stone found two days after disappearance

A CHRISTCHURCH woman who disappeared two days ago has been found hours after a police appeal.

Karen Stone (56) was reported missing having last been seen in Whitehayes Road around 8.30am on Tuesday and last been in touch with her family around 11.40am that day.

People were urged to come forward if they could help locate Karen after air and land searches were carried out by Dorset Police and coastguard teams.

But a force spokesperson said this afternoon: “Police searching for missing woman Karen Stone are pleased to confirm she has been located.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”
