Minstead geared up for annual village fete fun on the green

VILLAGERS at Minstead are gearing up for a day of fun, games and festivities for locals and visitors alike at their highly anticipated annual fete in the heart of the Forest this weekend.

This celebration of community spirit for friends, families and furry companions promises a memorable day for all tomorrow (Saturday), from 10am to 4pm on the village green overlooked by The Trusty Servant pub.

Event highlights include the Great Minstead Bake Off for the culinary inspired to display their prowess.

The tea tent will boast a delightful array of homemade treats and refreshments, while there will be an assortment of stalls across the green offering local crafts, arts, and trinkets.

Guaranteed to generate cheers of encouragement will be the dog agility event, with an obstacle course to put canines’ skills and speed to the test.

Youngsters are also in for a treat, with an array of exciting games and activities designed to keep them entertained and engaged throughout the day.
