Milford Music Festival will feature 16 local bands including The Manatees, Black Kat Boppers and Skamageddon
LIVE music is set to pulse from Milford Village Green as a popular two-day music festival returns this weekend.
Between midday and 11pm on Saturday the village green will come alive with a blend of music genres from rock and blues to pop and country. The music continues until 10pm on Sunday and admission is free throughout the weekend.
The programme includes 16 local acts: The Manatees, Black Kat Boppers, Skamageddon, Bamboo Vipers, Clockwork Carousel, Cub, Dog Ruff, Emma Hardy Band, Ocean Harmony, Paddy’s Dog, Roxanne Phillips, Six and Sax, the Strange Blues Band, The Blues Machine, The SoulSonics and Tony Bryant.
Run by a team of volunteers with sponsorship from local individuals and businesses, the event is also supported by Culture in Common, a New Forest Arts Council-funded programme.
Festival spokesperson Emma Hardy said: “The MOS Music Festival is bringing together music lovers, families, and neighbours for a day of great tunes, local talent, and community spirit.
“The line-up includes a wide range of local talent, with various genres including rock, pop, indie, soul, motown, ska, blues, folk, classical, barbershop, and more.
“As well as great music, you will find stalls selling delicious food, a fully stocked bar, and specialist drink options to enjoy on the village green.
“Also, the vibrant village centre will be open, with cafés, restaurants, pubs, a wine bar, and a host of interesting shops, all ready to welcome you.
“Milford on Sea Village Green is the perfect summer location for live music. This beautiful open space is located right in the heart of the village and provides the ideal backdrop for a free weekend of music, food and fun.”
Festival programmes are available in village shops priced £3. They feature full band details and performance times.

Dogs will not be allowed on the village green for the festival duration. The event will be supported by New Forest Litter Pickers.
