Men arrested after class A drugs found in car following police pursuit in New Milton

LEARN MORETWO men have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after a police pursuit in New Milton.
Officers tried several times to stop a vehicle seen with a broken wing mirror at about 10.45pm on Saturday – first in Old Milton Road, then Christchurch Road before it finally came to a halt in Sea Road, Barton.
The vehicle was searched by police who found class A drugs, cash, a mobile device and a number of car keys.
A property in Christchurch was then searched, where more class A drugs, cash and an offensive weapon were found and seized.
A 26-year-old man from Christchurch was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, acquiring/using or possessing stolen goods and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
Both men remain in custody.
