Man seriously injured in attack on King's Avenue in Christchurch

A MAN in his 40s suffered facial fractures in an attack on a Christchurch street.

Dorset Police are urging witnesses to come forward following the assault on Kings Avenue, near the junction with Manor Road, in Christchurch at around 8pm on 16th July.

The force is looking for a suspect who is white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 10in tall and of slim build with light-brown, curly hair. Police said he fled the scene in a vehicle.

Detective Constable Leo Christian, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information relating to the identity of those involved, to please contact us.”
