Man in A337 car crash denies trying to murder woman

A SWAY man has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and dangerous driving following a crash in the New Forest.

Peter Tillman (71) is accused of committing the offences on August 20th.

As reported in the A&T, there was a collision on that date between a Jaguar car driven by Mr Tillman and a Mini on the A337 between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst.

A 59-year-old female passenger in the Jaguar and the 33-year-old woman driver of the Mini both sustained minor injuries.

Peter Tillman, of Manchester Road, entered his denials to the two charges when he appeared before Judge Keith Cutler at Winchester Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody to reappear for trial on 10th February 2020.
