They seized a total of two plants, with the other found in the laundry pile. They also found a further quantity of the drug.

A 28-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis but later de-arrested. He was requested to attend a police interview under caution.

A Facebook post by local officers afterwards said: “The male did try to hide one plant in with his dirty laundry, as he thought that it would mask the smell of the cannabis.”
