New Milton man Daniel Dewhurst given suspended prison sentence after breaking Napoleons Bar and South Hair Salon in Highcliffe

BREAKING into two businesses landed a New Milton man with a suspended prison sentence.

Daniel Dewhurst (27), of Raleigh Close, admitted trespassing in Napoleons Bar in Lymington Road, Highcliffe, and taking a float and fruit machine profit of unknown value on 2nd March.

He also admitted trespassing in neighbouring South Hair Salon the previous day with intent to steal.

Poole magistrates imposed a 12-week term suspended for 12 months, with an eight-week curfew and rehabilitation activity.

Dewhurst was told to pay £500 compensation for the theft.
