Man faces jail after admitting knife attack in Lymington

PENNINGTON man Ross Neilson has pleaded guilty to a stabbing and will be sentenced in the New Year.

Neilson admitted wounding Miles Filose with intent during an incident on March 9th at Lower Buckland Road in Lymington, when he appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court.

He also admitted a second charge of possessing a knife in a public place.

Ross Neilson (40), of Broadley Close, was remanded in custody to be sentenced on 13th January 2020.

As reported in the A&T, armed police responded to the incident after the alarm was raised around 6.10pm.

A force helicopter was also dispatched, along with a dog unit, to support officers who swooped on a property and carried out a search.

The victim was treated at the scene for wounds to his head but he did not need to be taken to hospital.
