Ashley Brown due in court over alleged parcel thefts from homes on Woodstock Road in Christchurch, and Christchurch Road and Hawkwood Road in Bournemouth





A CHRISTCHURCH man is facing charges over reports of parcels stolen from homes.

Police arrested Ashley Brown (28) after packages were allegedly taken by someone who entered the porch of an address on Woodstock Road in the town around 2.10pm on 23rd December last year.

Posting online, local officers said they had reviewed Ring doorbell camera footage as part of their investigations.

Brown, of Treebys Close, has been charged with burglary, theft and attempted theft.

The allegations also relate to similar incidents reported to have taken place outside Bournemouth properties – on Christchurch Road on 19th and on Hawkwood Road on 21st December last year.

Brown is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 4th March.
