Man hit on head with bottle in Lower Ashley Road, New Milton

A MAN was injured after being struck over the head with a bottle in New Milton last Friday afternoon.

The alarm was raised around 5.50pm, with reports an unknown person attacked the local 50-year-old victim in Lower Ashley Road.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said the man suffered minor injuries, and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
