Southampton magistrates fine Fordingbridge man Kevin Sweeny for sending threatening WhatsApp message to woman

A FORDINGBRIDGE man who sent threatening WhatsApp messages to a woman has been hit with a financial penalty.

Kevin Sweeny (63), of Pennys Crescent, admitted sending an indecent or grossly offensive message to his victim with the intention of causing distress or anxiety on 13th January.

He also pleaded guilty to a separate charge of using threatening words or behaviour towards her.

Southampton magistrates fined Sweeny £266 and ordered he pay £191 in court charges.
