Mann’s Cookies and Lime Wood launch Brilliant Breakfast events to raise cash for Women Supporting Women
TWO New Forest companies are inviting fundraisers to a Brilliant Breakfast in aid of the Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women charity.
The national initiative funds life-changing programmes for disadvantaged young women in the UK, supporting them to go into education, work or training.
On Friday 15th October, Mann’s Cookies founder Amanda Mann will host an open house coffee and cookie morning in Lymington in a bid to raise £5,000 for the charity.
She hopes that around 200 friends and supporters will pop in for a £5 fee to enjoy unlimited coffee and cookies between 8.30am and 10.30am.
Amanda said: “Women Supporting Women is an incredibly important cause and I’d really love to raise as much as possible.”
The bespoke cookie company, which delivers sweet treats to customers across the UK, was founded by Amanda and her children during the pandemic to thank NHS staff for their incredible work.

Throughout next week between 11th and 17th October, Lime Wood near Lyndhurst will offer a Brilliant Breakfast menu at its Raw and Cured restaurant developed by leading UK nutritionist and author Amelia Freer.
Served all day between 8am and 5pm, the special menu will include a busy day smoothie (£7.50), squash frittata (£8.50), breakfast seed bars (£4.50), lemon and blackberry chia pudding (£4.50) and rye bread topped with egg mayonnaise, avocado, tomatoes and fresh herbs (£7.50).
All proceeds will go directly to the Women Supporting Women charity to fund training and mentorship programmes and mental health support.
