Jewellery worth thousands stolen from home on Chiltern Close, Barton

JEWELS worth thousands were taken when a Barton home was raided.

Watches, rings, gold bangles and a bracelet were among valuables stolen after entry was forced to the house on Chiltern Close sometime between 2pm 7th July and 4pm on the 10th.

Police are appealing for information about the theft, particularly from those who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time.

A spokesperson from Hampshire police added: "We would also urge people to be aware, particularly pawn shops, if they see or are offered expensive jewellery for sale."
