A CHRISTCHURCH man with a "flagrant disregard" for court orders has been jailed for eight weeks.

Daniel Russell (40), of Stour Road, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order and a restraining order by contacting a woman between 15th and 17th January.

The orders were imposed by Poole magistrates in December last year, and in failing to comply he was also in breach of two suspended sentences made by the Bench on 6th and 11th January.

These were imposed after Russell harassed the victim by following her, turning up at her home unannounced and messaging her "relentlessly".

He also harassed a second woman by turning up to her work place and messaging her "extensively".

As well as the eight-week prison term, the Bench ordered the defendant to pay £213 in court charges.
