The menu is said to feature dishes with a “more authentic” Indian flavour.

A statement by the restaurant team said: “Winning this award is a true honour and a reflection of our vision to bring authentic yet contemporary Indian flavours to Hampshire. It inspires us to continue our journey of culinary innovation and outstanding hospitality for our valued guests.”

The eatery prides itself on its signature dishes, inviting ambiance and outstanding customer service.

Founded by Bangladeshi chef Shorif Khan and now in its eight year, the Euro Asia Curry Awards scheme honours the best curry houses in the UK and the hardworking and talented people behind them.

Hundreds of businesses and individuals were nominated for the awards, which include categories such as Best Restaurant, Best Takeaway and Best Chef.

Around 50 regional and national winners were chosen and received their gongs at a ceremony at the Mayfair Venue in Romford, London, on 26th November.

Mr Khan said: “We’re very excited to once again be celebrating the incredible people, restaurants and takeaways that make the UK curry industry as loved as it is.

‘Annually, the industry contributes more than £5m to the country’s economy, and 2024 has been a particularly strong year.’

Among those presenting accolades was five-time British heavyweight boxing champion Julius Frances.
