Lymington’s Oakhaven Hospice launches auction featuring local artists Will Rochfort and Michael Turner




A LYMINGTON hospice has launched an art auction featuring works by well-known local artists including Will Rochfort, Michael Turner and John Illsley.

Oakhaven will host an exhibition at Lymington Masonic Hall and an online silent auction for more than 100 pieces, generously donated from artists across the area.

The fundraiser “caters to all artistic tastes”, featuring a wide variety of watercolours, oil paintings, etchings, prints, sculptures and much more.

Andrew Ryde, hospice CEO, said: “As an art lover myself, this event holds a special place in my heart.

“Our last art auction took place in 2020 and we are pleased to have changed the format this year to include artwork in all mediums. The quality has been exceptional, and I am looking forward to placing a few bids myself.”
