Fleurets list The Swan pub in Emery Down, Lyndhurst, available for let
A HISTORIC pub in the New Forest with “tremendous potential” is looking for a new landlord.
Leisure property specialists Fleurets have been instructed to market The Swan in Emery Down, Lyndhurst, to let.
Located in the bustling market town of Lyndhurst, the historic, two-storey, detached, brick-built property features extensive internal trading areas with a capacity of 130.
It also has a large, enclosed garden accommodating up to 150 customers, and has living accommodation comprising three bedrooms.
The Swan is opposite the junction of Bournemouth Road on the A35 and Swan Green, just west of Lyndhurst and southwest of the main A31.
It is described by the estate agents as being “surrounded by the rural beauty of the New Forest, with its 93,000 acres of national park – an area that has remained largely unchanged since receiving special protection from William the Conqueror over 900 years ago”.
Divisional director of Fleurets, Nick Earee, said: “The site is currently a managed house but may be better suited to a motivated and experienced owner-operator.
“This property presents tremendous potential for prospective tenants to secure a fantastic opportunity in the heart of the New Forest.”
