LYMINGTON residents are invited to attend an open meeting where they can share their ideas and concerns over the town’s future.

The Bottom of Town Group is calling for representatives from schools, businesses, clubs, healthcare providers and residents’ groups, among others, to come to the Parish Hall behind St Thomas’s Church at 6.30pm on 6th December.

The meeting will be chaired by Tom Cornwall.

Meeting organiser Jon Ellis said: “The Bottom of Town Group wishes to acknowledge the progress made with the Neighbourhood Plan since the newly elected town council met in May.

“We feel that the preparation of the plan needs a higher profile and to be more ‘people led’ rather than ‘consultant led’.

“For this reason the meeting is called. People who have previously not thought of contributing to the plan are particularly encouraged to attend and contribute.”
