Great British Bake-Off's Maggie Richardson gives pizza class to Fordingbridge Junior School pupils

GREAT British Bake Off star Maggie Richardson recently joined youngsters at Fordingbridge Junior School for a pizza-making masterclass.

Maggie, from Poole, was a contestant on the 2021 British Bake Off series.

During her recent visit she taught Year 5 students the secrets to a perfect pizza when she joined them to mix up dough and tasty toppings.

Pupil Kristian said: “I can’t believe that we had a celebrity come to our school to cook pizza.”

Budding baker George added: “It was an amazing experience working with Maggie!”

School spokesperson Sarah Heath said: “Everyone in Year 5 would like to say a huge thank you to Maggie for her time, kindness and inspirational spirit.”
