Girl (14) suffers serious injuries after being hit by car on the A326 Hythe bypass
A TEENAGE girl was badly hurt after being struck by a car on the A326 Hythe bypass last Thursday evening.
Police investigating the collision, which took place around 6.45pm, are appealing for witnesses and those with video footage to come forward.
The 14-year-old casualty was hit by a white MG3 as it travelled towards Calshot.
She was taken to hospital, where on Friday she was said to have remained in a serious condition.
A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “The car involved stopped at the scene and the driver is assisting us with our enquiries.
“As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area yesterday evening and witnessed the collision, the moments leading up to it or the aftermath.”
Officers also want to hear from those who may have relevant dash cam footage.
