Gender reveal bubble gets first unveil at Colin Nash’s restaurant in thanks to Christchurch based Bubble House Boutique

A CHRISTCHURCH firm has unveiled a gender reveal ‘bubble’ to reveal the sex of an unborn baby in a fun way at parties.

The inflatable ball contains either pink or blue balloons and is covered up until a silver curtain is thrown off.

One happy couple, Shauna Nash and Izzy Hopkins, were the first to use the bubble at their party in the grounds Colin Nash’s restaurant at The Retreat in Hinton.

The bubble is just one of an array of inflatables owned by Bounce House Boutique based in Christchurch.

It was founded by mum Faye Rodwell, who said: “Creating joyful, memorable moments is at the heart of everything we do at Bounce House Boutique.

“Our very first bubble house gender reveal was such a beautiful occasion to be part of—it’s an honour to help families celebrate life’s biggest milestones in a way that feels stylish, meaningful, and full of magic.”

The company also has the only pastel pink and purple bouncy castles in the whole of Dorset, and a Bubble House filled with balloons - a party accessory which has become ultra fashionable in Hollywood.

The boutique also has an extra-large ball pit and slide which is filled with 4,000 balls. Again, the colour scheme can be tailored to match a theme, and flower garlands added each side.

Soft play areas can be included in the hire and Faye’s company can put together a whole party package including hall hire, balloons, party bags, and cake.

There is also a popcorn machine and candy floss cart available and other equipment can be added on like didicars, light up numbers and cardboard characters.
