Former Boots in Lymington could become eatery in NFDC planners give go ahead

A COMMERCIAL property owner is seeking permission to turn a former shop in Lymington into an eatery.

The applicant wants to make internal alterations to the former Boots store at 41 and 42 St Thomas Street.

In a design and access statement, the applicant said the shop’s fittings have been removed and the premises would not require any “significant” changes.

The building’s first floor joists are in “poor” condition, the applicant said, and would require strengthening works before any future commercial use.

New Forest District Council planners will be consulting on the proposed works until 26th July.
