Police assault and racial disorder among charges admitted by Everton man Gary Spencer in court

ATTACKING a police officer and racially aggravated public disorder were among offences an Everton man admitted in court.

Gary Spencer (46), of Buckstone Close, appeared before Southampton magistrates after officers responded to reports of threats made to a person’s life in Widbury Road, Lymington, last Friday evening.

As well as racially aggravated public order and assaulting an emergency worker, Spencer was subsequently charged with one count of possessing a class B drug.

The defendant pleaded guilty to all charges and was bailed under an electronically monitored curfew to reappear on 31st January 2022.
