Eight EV chargers planned across two Waterside supermarket car parks

EIGHT new rapid electric vehicle chargers are planned across the car parks of two Waterside supermarkets.

Instavolt has applied to New Forest District Council to install two rapid EV charging stations within the car park of Waitrose in Hythe, using four existing parking spaces.

In a separate application it plans to install six chargers in the car park of Totton Retail Park at 62-96 Commercial Road, where stores include Lidl. Eight existing spaces will be used for the chargers.
