Suspected drug dealers arrested after police stop car speeding in Lyndhurst High Street




TWO suspected drug dealers were arrested after police stopped a car seen speeding through the centre of Lyndhurst in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

Officers spotted the red Nissan Micra exceeding the speed limit in High Street around 2.10am and pulled it over.

Searching both the vehicle and its occupants resulted in them finding and seizing a quantity of class B drugs, along with a number of mobile devices.

A 19-year-old man from Lymington and a 22-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply. The 19-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a blade in a public place.

Both men remain in custody.
