Driver accused of attempted murder on A337 remanded in custody
A SWAY motorist has appeared in court accused of trying to murder his partner and deliberately crashing his car.
Peter Tillman (71), of Manchester Road, Sway, did not enter a plea to an allegation that he committed the offence against Debbie Wilson.
He also did not enter a plea to a second charge of dangerous driving.
The incidents are said to have taken place at Clay Hill on the A337 Lymington to Brockenhurst Road on Tuesday evening.
There was a collision between the Jaguar and a Mini driven by a 33-year-old Dorset woman.
The passenger of the Jaguar, Miss Wilson, and the Mini driver were both taken to Southampton General Hospital for minor injuries.
Tillman is listed on Companies House as secretary and director of Venues Etc Ltd, incorporated in 1991 and registered to his address in Sway.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 18th September.
