Police probing arson at unoccupied property on Salisbury Road in Burton believe someone kicked the door down




ENTRY was forced to an unoccupied Burton property before it was deliberately set alight.

Police investigating the arson on Salisbury Road believe someone kicked the door down when they targeted the address.

The blaze was reported to officers at 9.45pm on Thursday 5th December, and they joined firefighters at the scene.

PC Jack Honnywill said: “As part of my investigation, I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in relation to the building fire in Salisbury Road.

“I would ask motorists with a dashcam travelling in the area of the Christchurch Bypass around the relevant time on Thursday evening to please check their footage for anything that may assist my enquiries.”
