Hampshire police and crime commissioner 2024 election result: Donna Jones re-elected as PCC
Donna Jones has been re-elected as the police boss for Hampshire.
Conservative Ms Jones was standing for re-election as the county police and crime commissioner, up against Lib Dem county councillor Prad Bains, Don Jerrard of the Justice and Anti-corruption Party and Labour borough councillor Becky Williams.
Running under the slogan ‘more police, safer streets’, the former magistrate and banker said: “My vision is for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to be two of the safest places to live, work and visit in the country.
“As your commissioner, as a parent and as a citizen, I want Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to be places our children and elderly people can walk the streets without fear of violence or intimidation.”
Speaking after the announcement, Ms Jones said: “I’m extremely honoured to be re-elected. The hard work continues tomorrow."
The results of Dorset’s PCC election will be known tomorrow (Saturday).

Only 19% of New Forest voters turned out to make their choice for the county’s police and crime commissioner, a number markedly down on Hampshire areas where local council elections were also taking place.
Turnout across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight was 28.38%, with 415,628 valid votes and 6,337 reject ballots.
