Do you know this man? CCTV image released after car and valuables stolen in burglary

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace after a car and valuables were stolen in a burglary at a Barton home.

A BMW was taken from the driveway of a property in Carlton Avenue in the village after it was targeted overnight.

The car keys had been taken when entry was gained to the home, and the offender escaped with a haul of other items including cash, jewellery and designer handbags.

The incident took place during the night of New Year’s Day, but officers released details with the images only this week.

Those who can help identify the offender pictured are urged to contact Hampshire police.

A force spokesperson said: “Do you know this man?

“We would like to speak to him in connection with a burglary in which a car was stolen in the New Forest.

“The burglary took place overnight on 1st January this year at a house in Carlton Avenue, Barton-on-Sea. A BMW was subsequently taken from the driveway.”
