Just one week until the New Forest Show at New Park, Brockenhurst, prepares to welcome 95,000 visitors




THE countdown is on to this year’s New Forest Show, with just one week until visitors are set to descend Brockenhurst’s New Park.

The popular three-day agricultural show, which runs from Tuesday 30th July to Thursday 1st August is expected to attract in the region of 95,000 people.

This year Britain’s Got Talent’s motorbike stunt team Bolddog FMX have been unveiled as a top attraction, alongside Motionhouse Dance, which combines dance, acrobatics and circus skills to wow the crowds.

Showcasing the best of the New Forest and Hampshire, over 2,500 animals will be in attendance, ranging from horses to cattle, sheep, donkeys, birds and bees.

Hundreds of businesses will showcase their products with the show’s Festival of Food and children will be sure to be entertained with an activity trail, arts and crafts, baking competition and family fun zone.

Livestock competitions and equestrian showjumping events will also keep visitors entertained, alongside a local produce market, trade stands and displays from the Adams Axemen Lumberjacks.

New for 2024, organisers will be welcoming local bands to the main stage to entertain the crowds.

The show’s CEO Dennis Dooley said: “This year’s show really shouldn’t be missed.

“Our 40 acres of showground is going to be packed with exciting displays, performances and activities for the whole family to get involved with.”
