Donate a bra event by New Forest Escapes collects 350 items For Smalls For All

A PLEA to donate bras as part of a charity initiative by a New Forest holiday lettings company has had an “overwhelming” response.

The 350 bras receieved will go to charity Smalls for All, which supports women in the UK and Africa who cannot afford to buy underwear.

Jane Wilkinson, managing director of New Forest Escapes, said: ‘A big bra-vo and thank you to our brilliant locals.

“We have been overwhelmed by the response. We are also delighted that our bra collection has captured people’s attention and helped to raise awareness of the work of Smalls for All.

“This may seem like a small thing, but it can make a significant difference to someone’s quality of life, as underwear is particularly important for women’s dignity.’

‘We have appreciated all the positive feedback and comments from locals, who were pleased their bras were going to a new home while contributing to such a worthwhile cause.’

New Forest Escapes is a Lymington-based independent holiday lettings company, with a “focus on community, environment and sustainability”.

As part of this, the New Forest Escapes’ team are all committed to supporting charities and fundraising for worthwhile causes.
