CCTV appeal: woman sought after £22 diffuser stolen from Between the Lines gift shop on Lymington High Street
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to trace after an oil diffuser was stolen from a Lymington gift shop.
Investigations have been continuing into the theft of the £22 item, which took place at Between the Lines on High Street between 11.39am and 11.52am on Saturday 11th November.
People are being urged to come forward if they recognise the woman pictured.
She was described as white, aged around 80, 5ft 5ins tall, stocky build, with short, grey hair.
She was wearing a yellow jumper, a grey poncho, black trousers and knee-high boots; and carrying a black shopping bag.
A police spokesperson said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
