POLICE are investigating after lead was stolen from the roof of an office in Totton at the weekend.

Two thieves targeted Bluebird Care in Salisbury Road during the night on Sunday at around 12.30am hours.

The family-run company provides care at home in Totton, Cadnam, Ashurst and Lyndhurst to enable clients to remain living independently.

The company posted a CCTV video of the thieves to its Facebook page.

It wrote: “Whilst our teams at Bluebird Care are working over the weekend in order to be able to provide care to the elderly and vulnerable during the pandemic, we have these two low lives causing damage and stress.

“The video has gone to the police and we are also checking other videos from neighbouring properties in order to track their car registration.”

The statement added that the males, thought to be teenagers, were wearing Nike tracksuit bottoms and jackets from North Face.

Anyone with any information should contact Hampshire Constabulary by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
