CCTV: Shoplifter stole meat and toothbrushes worth over £400 from Waitrose at The Furlong in Ringwood




OVER £400 of meat and toothbrushes was stolen when a shoplifter targeted a Ringwood supermarket.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to as they continue investigating the theft, which took place in Waitrose at The Furlong.

The offender took the meat and Oral-B brushes, valued at a total of £410.78, between 5.05pm and 5.20pm on Friday 7th June.

People are being urged to come forward if they can help identify the man shown in the pictures.

He is described as white, in his 50s, about 5ft 10ins tall, with short grey hair, and wearing blue jeans and a light blue shirt.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”

Witnesses and those with relevant CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage are also sought.
