Man wanted by police after sunglasses stolen from Boots store on Station Road, New Milton
POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace after two pairs of designer sunglasses were stolen from an opticians in New Milton.
The Boots store on Station Road was targeted in the theft between 12.35pm and 1.10pm on Sunday 11th August.
People are being urged to come forward if they can help identify the pictured man, who is described as white, aged between 25 and 40, about 5ft 7ins tall, and of skinny build.
He had short dark hair, a short scruffy beard, and a tattoo on the left side of the neck; and he was wearing dark trousers, white trainers and a grey long-sleeved hooded top. He was carrying a Morrisons bag for life.
A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
