CCTV pictures released in hunt for thieves who stole disc cutter from Brandon Tool Hire in Christchurch

POLICE investigating a theft from a Christchurch tool shop have released CCTV images of two men they want to identify.

At about 10.10am on 18th May a man entered Brandon Tool Hire in Somerford Road and spoke to a member of staff.

While the worker was distracted a second man entered a staff-only area and left with a Husqvarna K770 petrol disc cutter.

Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and have obtained CCTV images of two people I would like to speak to.

“If you have any information about their identity, please contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a disc cutter matching the description given for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
