CCTV: Shoplifter steals over £300 of champagne and spirits from M&S Food on St Thomas Street in Lymington
A second haul of alcohol has been stolen from a Lymington store, which has now seen more than £1,000 worth taken over the two incidents.
As reported by the A&T yesterday (Thursday) 21 bottles of champagne valued at £717 were taken from Marks & Spencer on St Thomas Street on Tuesday 30th April, and CCTV pictures were released of a pair wanted by police.
Now officers have made a second appeal over an incident at the same store between 1.10pm and 1.40pm on Wednesday 15th May, when the eight bottles of champagne and spirits valued at £326 were taken.
Those who recognise the man pictured are asked to contact police.
He is white, aged around 40, about 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with a shaved head and a scar on his face.
He was wearing a khaki brown fleece, a white T-shirt, dark grey tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side, and dark grey trainers with white stripes.
A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
