CCTV: Police seek man after iPhone advertised for sale on Facebook is stolen from Ringwood seller




POLICE have released CCTV pictures of a man wanted after a mobile phone advertised for sale on social media was snatched.

The incident happened between 12.40pm and 12.45pm on Wednesday 19th February when the thief visited an address on Queensway, Ringwood, responding to an advert on Facebook selling the iPhone.

He then fled with it.

People are asked to come forward if to help officers identify the man in the pictures.

He is black, aged in his 30s, about 5ft 10in tall, wearing a black puffer jacket, grey Nike trainers and Adidas tracksuit bottoms.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”

Officers also want to hear from those who saw any suspicious activity, or who may have useful CCTV, mobile phone camera, dash cam or doorbell camera footage.
