CCTV images released after beer thrown over man who was subjected to homophobic abuse at Bailey Bridge pub in Christchurch

POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they want to find after a man was assaulted and subjected to homophobic abuse at a Christchurch pub.

The incident took place at the Bailey Bridge pub in Barrack Road at around 8.50pm on Wednesday 10th November.

Beer was said to have been thrown over a man in his 20s before the homophobic abuse was hurled at him.

PC Tom Ringer said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am issuing CCTV images of two men I would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please come forward.”
