CCTV: Four women sought by police after £500 of clothing, phone chargers and bedding stolen from Tesco in New Milton




POLICE have released CCTV images of three of four women sought after hundreds of pounds of goods was stolen from a New Milton supermarket.

Shoplifters targeted Tesco on Caird Avenue between 1.20pm and 1.40pm on Wednesday 9th October, taking clothing, phone chargers and bedding valued at £500.

People are being urged to come forward if they can help identify the three women pictured, along with a fourth.

The first woman officers want to speak to is described as about 5ft 5in tall, in her 40s, large build, with blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.

She was wearing a light-coloured blouse, black trousers and flip-flops, and was carrying a large black holdall.

The second was about 5ft 5in tall, in her 60s, medium build, with brown/grey hair in a high bun, wearing a white gilet and glasses, and also carrying a black holdall.

The third woman is described as about 5ft 5in tall, in her 30s, medium build, with blonde hair. She was wearing a blue hooded top, grey trousers and Croc-style footwear, and carrying a black ribbed holdall.

The fourth was about 5ft 3in tall, in her 20s, slender build, with brown hair in a high bun, and wearing a black coat with a fur trim and light blue jeans.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the women in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed anything of any of this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
