Brockenhurst Careys Manor hotel, Sandy Balls Holiday Park and two Shorefield parks win Beautiful South Tourism Awards




CAREYS Manor hotel in Brockenhurst picked up two prestigious awards in the recent Beautiful South Tourism Awards.

The hotel won silver in the Large Hotel of the Year category and its SenSpa won silver for Spa and Well Being Experience of the year.

A whole host of other businesses in the New Forest area were also celebrating after being awarded accolades at the event, which was held in Brighton.

Shorefield’s Lytton Lawn in Milford was given silver in the Camping and Caravanning Park of the Year category, while the company’s Shorefield Country Park in Lymington won silver in Dog Friendly Business of the Year.

Lytton Lawn was praised by visitors, with one calling it “a little bit of heaven”.

Shorefield Country Park’s four legged visitors can now enjoy its “brand new look” after a makeover.

Another favourite New Forest camping site, Sandy Balls Holiday Village in Fordingbidge, was the overall winner in the Holiday Park of the Year.

New Milton’s Hobourne Naish was commended in the same category.

Another hotel in the Forest also did well at the awards which was hosted by TV presenter Tony Antis and attended by hundreds of guests from the tourism industry.

The Montagu Arms in Beaulieu won silver in the Small Hotel of the Year.

They have all worked incredibly hard throughout 2023 and it is our pleasure to reward and recognise the high standards. They set our region amongst the best in the country.”
