Car left stuck on barrier in crash on A31 at St Leonards




A CAR was left straddling the central reservation following a collision with another vehicle on a busy stretch of the A31 near Ringwood.

The incident involving a Nissan Juke and a Volkswagen Eos took place along Ringwood Road by the Azalea roundabout, near St Leonards Hospital, shortly before 4pm on Saturday.

As a result of the impact, the Volkswagen ended up stuck on the central barrier. One lane of the carriageway was closed while emergency crews dealt worked at the scene.

Paramedics attended, along with fire crews from Ringwood and Ferndown, and a Hampshire police spokesperson said minor injuries were reported.
