Police hunt for driver who failed to stop after BMW struck road sign on A31 at St Leonards, near Ringwood




POLICE are hunting a motorist who failed to stop after a car struck a road sign on the A31 near Ringwood.

Witnesses and those with any useful video footage are being sought amid investigations into the collision that took place at St Leonards, close to the BP Garage, around 7.45pm on Saturday.

The vehicle involved, a blue BMW, was said to have left the scene.

Urging people to come forward if they saw the incident, or the vehicle being driven in the area, PC Steve Hall added: “I would also urge anyone who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage to please contact us.”
