He added: “A huge amount of work goes into organising BrockStock and the money raised from it is used to support the football club throughout the year. So many people volunteer and help out to make this event a success and for that we are incredibly grateful.

Rumer, a former Brock College student who is known for hits like Slow and Aretha, will make an appearance on Sunday. In 2011 she was nominated for two Brit Awards.

A football club spokesperson added: “The festival will feature lots of live music, with 12 bands lined up during the weekend to provide a great selection to suit all tastes. These include Rumer, Session 45, Leverstock, Empty Frets, Up To No Good, The Vernon Principle, Absolute Block, Taya Minchington, Phil Holbird, Sunstroke, Sirpico and The Henrys.

“The festival has something for everyone – in addition to great music there is a food court and tea garden, including barbecue food, authentic dishes from Britannia Thai and wonderful vegan and vegetarian food from The Tinker’s Granddaughter, plus amazing waffles from Waffaholic.

Festival admission is £5, which includes a reusable polycarbonate cup which are being provided to all attendees in a bid to promote sustainability and reduce litter. To find out more visit www.brockenhurstfc.co.uk/brockstock
