Britain’s Got Talent’s motorbike stunt team Bolddog FMX set to wow visitors at this year’s New Forest Show
The 2024 New Forest & Hampshire County Show looks set to be a day out like no other as the UK’s number one freestyle motocross Team, Bolddog FMX sign up to wow families at the three-day event.
With dazzling displays, games, competitions, face painting and many more family friendly activities alongside local food and drink with a host of caterers around the showground.
The Bolddog FMX motocross showcase incorporates the latest heart stopping tricks as usually only seen on TV. The team set the standard when they were semi-finalists on series 8 of Britain’s Got Talent and now continues to push the boundaries of FMX and lead the way for all motorcycle display teams.
Bolddog Lings Team Manager, Dan Whitby, describes their show: “It’s a non-stop show that will entertain everyone from off–road enthusiasts to the general public. It’s a must-see part of any festival and is continually growing in popularity as the awareness of freestyle motocross increases.”
With around 95,000 visitors over 3 days, The New Forest Show is the largest event in the Forest and one of the most prestigious agricultural events in the UK. Taking place on 30 July – 1st August at the Showground, New Park, Brockenhurst, this year looks set to be even bigger.
Now with exciting new displays, a vibrant brand refresh and new £50 family tickets all aimed at nature-loving families, it promises to be ‘A world of forest fun!’.
Famous for its livestock competitions and equestrian show jumping events, The Show also offers fun forest activities, local food and drink stalls, craft vendors, educational exhibits, and entertaining performances.
“This year’s Show is looking to be one of the best ever with so much to see and do for the whole family. I’m particularly excited to see Bolddog FMX make their debut in the New Forest, their death-defying stunts really look amazing. The rest of The Show is shaping up nicely with a focus this year on interactive activities for the whole family and a record number of horse classes taking place over the three days,” says Denis Dooley, Chief Executive, New Forest Agricultural Show Society.
100 YEARS OF HISTORY
The New Forest Show has had a long and varied history, starting as a small, one-day agricultural Show in 1920. The first show was held after the First World War. The local community wanted to bring people back together to celebrate their traditional agricultural lifestyle.
Over time, it went from being a one-day event to two days, then developing into the three-day spectacular event of today. However, the ethos remains the same – celebrating the best of rural life.
CHARITY IS AT THE HEART THE SHOW
The New Forest & Hampshire County Show is organised by The New Forest Agricultural Show Society charity who are highly conscious that the Show continues to build on its remit of ‘the holding of an annual Show to promote and encourage the development of agriculture, forestry, equestrianism and horticulture and encourage the improvement in the breeding of stock’.
Every year The Show helps raise funds to support the New Forest Agricultural Show Society and other local and national charitable organisations.
