The Sound of Springsteen comes to Regent Centre in Christchurch

AN eight-piece band will rock Bruce Springsteen’s greatest hits at the Regent Centre in Christchurch on Saturday 28th May.

The Sound of Springsteen will transport patrons to the Streets of Philadelphia for a night featuring a medley of hits from the Boss, including Born in the USA, Glory Days, Dancing in the Dark, Born to Run and many more.

The tribute band formed in late 2017 and includes members who have performed with Cliff Richard, Chris Rea, the Beach Boys, Barbara Dickson, Tony Hadley, Ike and Tina Turner and Elaine Paige.

Lead vocalist Sam Confrey, who previously performed with the Alter Eagles – an Eagles tribute band – said: “A stylistically unique band from day one, the members of the Sound of Springsteen have been singing, performing, and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers.

“Throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life, performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.’
