Body found in New Forest search for missing man Nathan Haskell

POLICE have found a body while searching for a missing Bournemouth man whose car had been abandoned in Burley.

The discovery on Wednesday afternoon came after officers appealed for the public’s help in tracking down Nathan Haskell (45) as concerns for his welfare grew since his disappearance two days earlier.

Mr Haskell had last been seen leaving Bournemouth around 2.50pm on Monday in a green Peugeot 206, which was later found in Honey Lane, Burley.

The man’s body was discovered as they continued efforts to find him in the New Forest.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “Formal identification procedures are ongoing, but Nathan’s next of kin have been made aware.”
