Hampshire Police camera van operator pelted with eggs by man in balaclava





A MAN wearing a balaclava pelted a police safety camera van operator with eggs through an open window.

Hampshire police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at the junction of Salisbury Road and Hammonds Lane in Totton at around 12.25pm yesterday (Monday).

After throwing three eggs, the suspect ran off down Testwood Lane.

A force spokesperson said the attack damaged computer equipment and was “very alarming” for the victim.

They added: “We are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.”
